I am off on a new adventure! I am volunteering with Wexford Ace Hardware, Ty Teddy Bear, and Children’s Miracle Network to launch Operation Brown Bear. Over the past 12 years, Wexford Ace Hardware has raised money to support Children’s Miracle Network through the Ace Foundation.
The goal is to deliver 1,000 teddy bears to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. I will be delivering these teddy bears in my 1968 Piper Cherokee. Through Operation Brown Bear we will have three operational support levels:
Level 1: Ground Crew
Sponsor a Ty Teddy Bear for $10.00 by stopping in at Wexford Ace Hardware. Your sponsorship will provide a Ty teddy bear to be given to a child at a CMN hospital.
Level 2: Flight Crew
Pledge $1 for each hour flown in the Piper Cherokee. The maximum donation will not exceed $200. Your pledge is due upon completion of the mission.
Level 3: Squadron Support
Donate $500.00 and your corporate logo will be placed on the aircraft and listed on www.bennyandhisjet.com. Please provide a digital image of your logo by contacting bennyandhisjet@gmail.com so an aircraft sticker can be made.
*All of the proceeds that is raised will go to the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh through the Ace Hardware Foundation.*
