Once I received my private pilot license, we decided it was time to look for a time building airplane. At first we were not sure if we wanted a high wing or low wing airplane. When my dad was in training in the late 70’s and early 80’s, he spent most of his time in a Piper Cherokee. For my PPL, I completed my training in a Cessna 172. After countless hours of research and trips around the country trying to find an airplane suitable for our needs, we decided on a Piper Cherokee 140. With an economical cruise of 110 KIAS and a useful load of over 800 pounds, we knew this would be the best choice.
Our adventures started with N7230F when we purchased it in Montpelier, VT on August 24th, 2018. Our flight home took us threw Rome, New York with a stop for some Barbecue. Our total trip took us just over three hours with some exceptional views of the finger lakes and Appalachian mountains.
N7230F will play a compelling role as this website develops over time. Most of the videos that will be uploaded here and on youtube will be filmed in N7230F. Over time, my Dad and I look to update the avionics.
